In recent years, IOAS has expanded its accreditation capacity dramatically. In addition to organic agriculture, the organisation nowadays assesses certification bodies for textiles, cosmetics and other food standards like the Rainforest Alliance and GlobalG.A.P.
In the meantime, the IOAS website had become a sprawling complexion of documents, news items and programmes – all maintained with an outdated copy of Microsoft FrontPage.
The objectives for the relaunch were to a) introduce a coherent design for IOAS, starting with the website, b) develop a user-friendly navigation and provide easy access to the most important information and c) provide IOAS with a practical modern content management system to facilitate future updates.
ON:SUBJECT developed the concept and project-managed the implementation of the new website. Arlene Birt of Background Stories took care of the design, and Krome Design provided WordPress development services.
