Information collected from visitors

We have made an effort to reduce the amount of information from visitors – no Facebook pixels here. We collect the following information from visitors:

  • Comments submitted to this website. If you choose to submit a public comment on this website, you will be asked to provide a name and email address, and optionally a website address along with your comment. These details are stored by the website along with your comment. Your email address is never displayed publicly and is never passed on to a third party, but may be used to contact you if there is a problem with your comment. The IP address of the device you used to submit the comment is also stored.
  • Form submissions. You can contact us or download material from this website after submitting a form. These details are stored by the website, and only used for the purposes intended. Unless you indicate so, you will not receive any subsequent unsolicited communication.
  • Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our newsletter, your contact details (email, name and organization, if you provide them) will be send to Mailchimp for storage and processing. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Site usage tracking. We use Google Analytics to collect information about how people use this site. IP addresses are anonymized directly by Google and never stored.

In addition, you might find that our website places a small data file – a cookie – on your computer. This is solely to improve the user experience (for example: to not show you the same pop-up twice). They are not used to identify you personally. You can delete them as you wish.
